Description

This aircraft type can be seen at the Temora Aviation Museum. The F-86 Sabre, or SabreJet, was the USAF first swept-wing jet fighter plane. The aircraft made its initial flight on October 1, 1947. Also made in Australia the CAC 27 is a distinctly different type having only the wings of the F-86 in common.
