Description
OFFICIAL Australian Flag
The Australian flag sold here is an outdoor flag that is built to have superior durability and weather resistance in all types of climates found in Australia, from the outback to marine environments. The materials used in the making of this flag are UV treated to be resistant to fading during normal use.
This flag:
- Has the best resistance to UV light and is resistant to fading
- Is made of a knitted polyester fabric
- Lightweight so that it can fly proudly, even in the slightest of breezes
- Beautiful and vivid colors
- Four rows of quadruple high strength lock-stitching at the fly end reduces fraying and extends the flag's life
- Can be finished with brass grommets or in larger flags, with sister clips.
- Sister clips will be installed if you advise at time of order otherwise grommets is default.
Flag Sizing
Deciding on the size of flag you want is really about the desired appearance you want your flag pole to have when it's flying your flag. The sizes below are suggested sizes for standard Australian flagpole lengths
Generally speaking, the flag length should be between 1/3 and 1/4 of the flagpole height. Of course, this is a matter of taste, but many flags flown at government and public institutions follow this rule of thumb.
